Very much in the Hollywood tradition, Tony Simmons was cast in the heartwarming comedy MY SKIN wholly by virtue of his extraordinarily handsome screen presence (his wit and charm not withstanding). Eschewing the casting couch tradition, Simmons refused to nip Schwarz in his fargen, thereby maintaining his artistic integrity and ultimately contributing to the high-toned professionalism of the shooting environment. Unfortunately, said professionalism was not so gracefully attained by the likes of Broadstone or Wildridge. (But their personal issues regarding vodka and crack cocaine are not the subject of this bio).

Bringing his own unique style of acting to this light-hearted Broadstonian fare, Simmons refrained from any and all forms of personal hygiene –– for several months in advance, as a matter of fact, thereby highlighting his exemplary commitment to his craft.

Noting his radiant smile gracing the screen, in his 0scar-winning* performance in the role of Death in MY SKIN, one is reminded of how mysterious and rare are the qualities that separate the mere actors from those whom all recognize as having that STAR magnetism!
